Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
ASIST is a first aid intervention for suicide education program. Run over 2 days, this is a world-wide recognised course first developed in Canada.

In Australia it is licenced to LivingworksAustralia. ASIST is an immersive course which combines up to date research about suicide with a model for first aid intervention for someone considering suicide. Trainers provide a safe and nurturing environment for participants to support each other to examine their attitudes and beliefs about suicide, then develop skills to raise confidence in providing an intervention for someone. This course must be delivered as per its licence over two consecutive days with two trainers.
